The WC2023 initial submission period ends on April 29 2023, which is a hard deadline in order to publish the proceedings\/extended abstract booklet by the opening day of WC2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Full Paper Submission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Those who want to submit a full paper with a length of 6-10 pages<\/strong> in Springer proceedings paper format <\/a>should choose Full Paper Submission. Potential authors should prepare a paper with a minimum length of 6 pages in Springer proceedings paper format<\/a>. The submitted papers will be reviewed, and all accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of IFToMM World Congress 2023, which will be published as a part of Springer Book Series \u201cMechanism and Machine Science<\/a>\u201d with the title of Advances in Mechanism and Machine Science -Proceedings of the 16th IFToMM World Congress on Mechanism and Machine Science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If a paper is accepted, authors can select \u201cStandard License to Publish Agreement<\/strong>\u201d or \u201cOpen Choice (CC Attribution 4.0)<\/strong>\u201d upon final paper submission. The Standard License does not require any publication fees (the registration fee for WC2023 is required). If the Open Choice is selected, the Open Access fee, EUR2,170 (to be), shall be paid directly to Springer by the individual corresponding author (the registration fee for WC2023 is also required).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accepted full papers are eligible for the best paper awards of IFToMM World Congress 2023<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preparation of full paper<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The potential authors are requested to prepare their contributions by following Information for Authors of Springer Proceedings<\/a>. LaTeX Package and Word Template are available. You should prepare a full paper with a length of 6-10 pages.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initial submission of full paper (29th<\/sup> April on due)<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Your paper must be submitted via IFToMM WC2023 on Springer Nature EquinOCS<\/a>. There are 18 subunits in the submission system, each of which corresponds to the Technical Committee\/Permanent Commission\/Cross Disciplinary Group of IFToMM. You should choose one of the subunits you would like to submit your paper to and click \u201cSubmit Now\u201d to start your paper submission process. Keywords for each subunit, together with the relevant Technical Committee\/Permanent Commission\/Cross Disciplinary Group can be found on EquinOCS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please ensure that the EquinOCS metadata such as title, abstract and author list is correct since it will be included in the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do not forget to choose the Category of your submission from \u201cNon-student Paper\u201d and \u201cStudent Paper.\u201d Student papers are eligible for Best Student Paper Award.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final submission of full paper (31st<\/sup> July on due)<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Acceptance of full papers will be notified by 18th<\/sup> July 2023 by email with review comments. Please take these comments into account when preparing the final version of your full paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final version of your full paper must be submitted via IFToMM WC2023 on Springer Nature EquinOCS<\/a> by 31st<\/sup> July 2023. Please be sure to use the same account with which you submitted your full paper and click \u201cSubmit Final Version\u201d to proceed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Refer to Section 6 of the official User Guide for Conference Proceeding Authors of EquinOCS<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After submitting the final version of your paper, at least one author should complete Author Registration<\/a>  by 31st<\/sup> July 2023 in order for your paper to be included in the Proceedings of IFToMM World Congress 2023.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Extended Abstract Submission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Those who do not want to submit a full paper can present their contribution at IFToMM World Congress 2023 by submitting an extended abstract with 2 pages<\/strong> of Springer proceedings paper format<\/a> (w\/o 150-250 words abstract and keywords) by the same deadline as full paper. Note that, the submission system for extended abstracts is different from that for full papers. <\/strong>The submitted extended abstracts will be reviewed, and all accepted extended abstracts will be published in the separate Abstract Booklet of IFToMM World Congress 2023, which is electrically distributed to the WC2023 participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Extended abstracts are NOT eligible for the best paper award of IFToMM World Congress 2023<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Author Registration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

IFToMM World Congress 2023 policy requires that at least one author of your full paper \/ extended abstract is registered for the conference prior to the final full paper \/ extended abstract submission deadline, 31st<\/sup> July 2023. Otherwise, your full paper \/ extended abstract will not be included in the program and the proceedings \/ abstract booklet of IFToMM World Congress 2023. An author who pays any type of registration fee except “Accompanying Person\u201d is allowed to submit 1 final full paper \/ extended abstract. Additional paper \/ extended abstract submission fees will apply to the second submission, and\/or any submission greater than 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An author may register for the conference before the notification of acceptance. Had the paper \/ extended abstract not been accepted for WC2023, the registration fee will be refunded based on the cancellation policy upon request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
